1. Quiénes somos
Origami Cosmetic es un estudio de estética avanzada en Odessa, Texas. Esta política explica qué datos recogemos cuando reservas una cita, para qué los usamos y qué puedes pedirnos sobre ellos.
2. Qué datos recogemos
Solo lo necesario para atenderte:
- Tu nombre y tu teléfono — para identificar la cita y avisarte de cualquier cambio.
- Tu correo electrónico, si quieres darlo. Es opcional: sin él la cita funciona igual, solo que la confirmación y el recordatorio no te llegan por email.
- Los datos de la cita — servicio, fecha, hora y las notas que nos escribas.
No guardamos los datos de tu tarjeta. El depósito se paga en una página de Square, y es Square quien procesa y guarda esa información. Nosotros solo recibimos la confirmación de que el pago se hizo.
3. Para qué los usamos
Para agendar y confirmar tu cita, recordártela, contactarte si hay que reprogramar, y llevar el historial del estudio. Nada más. No te mandamos publicidad ni mensajes promocionales.
4. Mensajes de texto (SMS)
Cómo das tu consentimiento
Al reservar tu cita en este sitio puedes marcar una casilla para aceptar recibir mensajes de texto de Origami Cosmetic sobre esa cita. La casilla no viene marcada y no es obligatoria: si la dejas sin marcar, tu reserva se hace igual y no recibirás ningún mensaje.
Si en vez de reservar por la web nos llamas o nos escribes, te lo preguntamos en ese momento — «¿quiere que le mande la confirmación y un recordatorio por mensaje de texto a este número?» — y solo lo registramos si dices que sí, con la fecha y la hora en que lo dijiste. No hay forma de recibir estos mensajes sin haberlo pedido tú, por ninguna de las dos vías.
No compartimos tu número
No compartimos, vendemos ni facilitamos tu número de teléfono móvil ni los datos de tu consentimiento para recibir mensajes a terceros ni a afiliados con fines de marketing o promoción. Tu número solo se entrega a nuestro proveedor de mensajería con el único fin de hacerte llegar el mensaje que pediste.
Con qué frecuencia escribimos
Normalmente tres mensajes por cita: uno al confirmarla, un recordatorio el día anterior y otro la mañana de la cita. Si necesitamos reprogramar puede haber algún mensaje puntual más. No mandamos promociones ni mensajes recurrentes.
Costo
Pueden aplicar tarifas de mensajes y datos de tu operador telefónico. Origami Cosmetic no te cobra nada por estos mensajes.
Cómo darte de baja
Responde STOP a cualquier mensaje y dejarás de recibirlos de inmediato. Responde HELP si necesitas ayuda, o escríbenos a elizabethkarolalaobeltran@gmail.com. Darte de baja de los SMS no cancela tu cita.
5. Proveedores de servicio
Para que el sitio funcione nos apoyamos en unas pocas herramientas. Actúan como encargados del tratamiento por cuenta nuestra: solo reciben el dato mínimo que necesitan para hacer su trabajo, no pueden usarlo para fines propios y no son socios comerciales nuestros.
- Twilio — entrega de los mensajes de texto.
- Supabase — base de datos donde se guardan las citas.
- Square — cobro del depósito.
- Resend — envío de los correos de confirmación y recordatorio.
- Vercel — alojamiento del sitio.
Que aparezcan aquí no significa que compartamos tu número con terceros. Tu información móvil y tu consentimiento para recibir SMS no se ceden, venden ni facilitan a terceros ni a afiliados con fines de marketing o promoción, en ningún caso. Twilio recibe tu número únicamente para entregarte el mensaje que tú pediste.
Nunca vendemos tus datos. Solo los entregaríamos a una autoridad si la ley nos obligara.
6. Cuánto tiempo los guardamos
Conservamos el historial de tus citas mientras seas clienta del estudio, porque nos sirve para adaptar cada tratamiento a lo que ya te hemos hecho. Si quieres que borremos tus datos, escríbenos y lo hacemos.
7. Tus derechos
Puedes pedirnos en cualquier momento que te digamos qué datos tuyos tenemos, que los corrijamos si hay algo mal, o que los borremos. Escríbenos a elizabethkarolalaobeltran@gmail.com o por WhatsApp y te respondemos.
8. Cookies
Este sitio no usa cookies de publicidad ni de seguimiento. Solo guardamos en tu navegador un dato temporal con el resumen de la reserva, para poder enseñártelo cuando vuelves de la página de pago.
9. Menores
Nuestros servicios están dirigidos a personas mayores de 18 años. No recogemos datos de menores a sabiendas. Un tratamiento a un menor requiere la presencia y el consentimiento de su madre, padre o tutor.
10. Cambios
Si cambiamos esta política, actualizamos la fecha del encabezado. Los cambios importantes te los contaríamos directamente.

1. Who we are
Origami Cosmetic is an advanced esthetics studio in Odessa, Texas. This policy explains what data we collect when you book an appointment, what we use it for, and what you can ask us about it.
2. What we collect
Only what we need to take care of you:
- Your name and phone number — to identify your appointment and reach you about changes.
- Your email address, if you choose to give it. It is optional: without it your appointment works the same, you just won't get the confirmation and reminder by email.
- Appointment details — service, date, time, and any notes you write us.
We do not store your card details. The deposit is paid on a Square page, and Square processes and stores that information. We only receive confirmation that the payment went through.
3. How we use it
To schedule and confirm your appointment, remind you about it, contact you if we need to reschedule, and keep the studio's records. Nothing else. We do not send you advertising or promotional messages.
4. Text messages (SMS)
How you give consent
When you book on this site you may check a box to agree to receive text messages from Origami Cosmetic about that appointment. The box is not pre-checked and is not required: if you leave it unchecked, your booking still goes through and you will receive no messages.
If you book by phone or message instead of using the website, we ask you at that moment — "would you like me to send the confirmation and a reminder by text message to this number?" — and we record it only if you say yes, together with the date and time you said it. There is no way to receive these messages unless you asked for them, by either route.
We do not share your number
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is provided only to our messaging provider for the sole purpose of delivering the message you requested.
Message frequency
Typically three messages per appointment: one when it is confirmed, a reminder the day before, and one on the morning of the appointment. If we need to reschedule there may be an occasional additional message. We do not send promotions or recurring messages.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Origami Cosmetic does not charge you anything for these messages.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message and you will stop receiving them immediately. Reply HELP for help, or email us at elizabethkarolalaobeltran@gmail.com. Opting out of SMS does not cancel your appointment.
5. Service providers
A few tools keep this site running. They act as data processors on our behalf: they receive only the minimum data they need to do their job, they cannot use it for their own purposes, and they are not our business partners.
- Twilio — delivery of text messages.
- Supabase — database where appointments are stored.
- Square — deposit payments.
- Resend — delivery of confirmation and reminder emails.
- Vercel — website hosting.
Listing them here does not mean we share your number with third parties. Your mobile information and your SMS consent are never shared, sold, or provided to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, under any circumstances. Twilio receives your number solely to deliver the message you requested.
We never sell your data. We would only hand it over to an authority if legally required to do so.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your appointment history for as long as you are a client of the studio, because it helps us tailor each treatment to what we have already done. If you want your data deleted, write to us and we will delete it.
7. Your rights
At any time you can ask us what data of yours we hold, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, or ask us to delete it. Email elizabethkarolalaobeltran@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp and we will respond.
8. Cookies
This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. We only store a temporary item in your browser with a summary of your booking, so we can show it to you when you return from the payment page.
9. Minors
Our services are intended for people over 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. Treating a minor requires the presence and consent of a parent or guardian.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date in the header. We would tell you directly about any significant change.
